depends on the school zone, at my school, the school zone starts on a road that you have to turn off to get to the schools.....and if he would have been on private property before the cops show up, they have nothing because they were not in pursuit. that happend to my sister when she was showing off in her friends car with no license, or permit..(she was 14) the cop saw her going 50 in a 25 and he got in his car, by time he got to where she went (her friends house) he knocked on the door, they answered, he explained that he couldnt do anything becuase he wasnt in pursuit, and told everyone in the house to slow down if they drive. she got LLLLUUUUCKKKY!

 

In my defense to the school zone, it was around9 at night and when there is actually anytime around when school is in session I am careful to go the 15. This time the 45 literally was and accident even though it doesn't seem like it, I just need to be more careful and watch my speedo more.

 

yea. i agree with everyone here. speeding in a school zone just isnt cool...

but the signs DO say 20 mph ON SCHOOL DAYS WHEN CHILDREN ARE PRESENT. and if its 9 at night.. no middle school is getting out. so its fair game just like any other road. but after a while you realize speeding isnt worth it anyway. you dont really get where you're going much faster.. and the risk of you hurting yourself or someone else increases drastically.

but hey. i speed sometimes too. sometimes its just more comfortable at 55 instead of 45. idk

 

You gotta remember after school activities... There are still kids there even after school is out. School zones around me have flashing lights on the speed limit sign for when it's 15 and when it's not flashing you can go 30. Also, as a bonus, our cops don't have radar. They have "vascar"... which is just two white lines.

You better be happy you didn't try and pull off onto that road... I would imagine your car is pretty easy to point out.

I don't want to sound like an ***, but I've managed to evade the cops like your girlfriend suggested a few times... I guess I am an ***.

i hate to admit it but i have done the same with good results but once (3-4:00 am)the cop saw me turn down near a grocery store. but i went around back with my lights off and to go onto a road behind it. but he saw me at the last minute. he put on his lights and came racing at me. pulled me over. i played it cool while he was flippin out. all it took to get him to go away was, ask to see my speed on the radar. if he can't provide you with that info upon request, no ticket can be made. suffice to say, he was a pissed off hate machine when he left. i learned my lesson though that i won'talways get that lucky.

 

Yea, thats one bad thing about my car,it doesn'texactly blend in anywhere. You can't miss it if your looking for me.

 

Or if your with a girl you both can cry. Or better yet, bring a cute puppy with you.

 

Or you could do what they did in super troopers with the guy and his wife in their Porsche lmao

^^^ i was like that once, i have curently on my record 10-12 tickets, its like6 speeding, 1 careless, 1 for my license being from outta state(lol) 1 parking, 1 (to fast for road conditions) (wrecked a friends 07' F-150, yea but anyways, that isnt really in a good way, i had fun doin all my stupid ****, but thats all it was, it took me till about january of this year, 4 months till i turn 18, to realize, i dont have to drivelike im in a f'ing race all the time, so take it from me, slow down and be safe on the roads people...so, thats about all from me, peace out...
