You sir are a winner and will succed in life. You may pass GO and collect your $200.00. (i know I'm dating myself here)
Marriage shouldn't change a darn thing between you and your love. If you make the commitment great, but you should treat her/him with respect for the rest of your life. By the way I've known her for 18 years and been married for 14.

I have only ever loved two women enough to propose to them. Both of them said no. Why you might ask, because women (Marnie is not included in this statement because she is a grease monkey) are evil and I am a total d*ckhead. Not the best match.

So to sum up, I hate Valentines day, but I wish all you happy couples out there a great day and hope that you are together for many many many years.

Well the thing about marriage is that after the fact, people tend to neglect all the kinds of things listed in the first post. When people are dating, they are intent or impressing one another, pleasing one another, being attentive, listening, they are more accepting of flaws etc. But after marriage, in addition to other stresses, work, bills, kids, etc,it's like people expect the wedding ring to bind them without all the work they've been putting in all along. Hence, marriagebecomes work. That's why it seems so huge an obstacle to many, because everything came sonaturaland was easy during dating... but after you come downfrom that initial high, it becomes more of a challenge. Then your mate is dissapointed because "Things aren't the way they used to be." But like Dogmeat said, marriage shouldn't change a thing between a couple. They should strive to prove their love for one another on adaily basis.
