I did security for 2 years, I learned how to flat out SPRINT in uniform, steeltoes, and utiltiy belt hangin with about 20lbs worth of radio, flashlight, keys and other goodies...and steeltoes are good for putting the hurt on ppl or cars if nessisary. (I'd only do that in extreme cases)

Geez, reading this makes me glad I live in a smaller city in Canada...scares me to think about living in teh states, honestly. But I agree, you gotta watch like a flippin HAWK....
I have to agree with you there, Here the favorite move seems to be going 10 under the limit in the passing lane

Only that you have to get a little too close to kick someone! And I'd assume you'd be kicking at a parked car with no one in it that can run you down, even if you are fleet of foot in your steeltoes! That kinda situation calls for a little help from the fellas! (S&W) Not that I advocate violence BUT , them or me? THEM!!

Hi, I'm new to the forum. Have been reading quite a bit and learning a lot. Your cars are awesome!

Something similarhappened to me 2 1/2 weeks ago in my 95 Civic EX cpe. I had that car for 12 years, 207,777 miles on it andhad just put $2000 into it so I could keep it longer...which money I won't be getting back.

Iwas going through an intersectionwith a green light when a woman (facing me)trying to make a left hand turn in front of me decided to go when Iwas already in the intersection. WTF was she thinking?????? I hit her head on (35 mph), both my airbags came out, jacked up my car and it's a total loss. The insurance will only give me about $3000 for it. Not to mention that I still have pain in my head, neck and back from it I had full coverage, don't know what type she has.

I didn't have all the aftermarket stuff like most of you, but this car meant so much to me and it has forced me to get another car. I just got a replacement this past week, a manual 2001 Civic EX cpe. It has a few small glitches but drives great.

My old Civic wasan awesome car but I had lots of bad luck with it. It was broken into twice, attemptedbreak in once and stolen once this year in April (recovered a week later with stereo system gone but otherwise in great shape).

Therefore, I'll be putting a security system (Viper?) into my 01 but only so it doesn't get stolen. I'm not going to put anything real nice into it, if anything at all.I've noticed from this forum that notmany modscan bedone to the 01-04's anyway and they are less likely to get stolen/broken into...right?

It's nice to have a new car, but I miss my 95 Civ.

Glad to be here.....tgs

there are alot of dumd@sses in this world... and to fiirkan, I HEAR YOU!!! saskatchewan drivers are the worst. and its not just me that thinks it. I swear, there are old ladies and farmers driving around this city. They are all idiots. They drive 90 in the left lane... but the worst is when theres 2 people driving next to each other on the highway doing 90... makes me want to kick some matlock-lovin asses. and then theres the farmers with the 70's and 80's trucks... that cant even reach highway cruising speed... and yet they drive i nthe passing lane... morons. I was driving home after work one day, and im driving in the right lane and this old lady driving in the left decides to change lanes right in front of me. she came about 6 inches from hitting my front bumper so i drove past her and she flipped me off... I followed her home and gave her a piece of my mind. i mean the nerve of some people... she could have totalled my baby, and she had the nerve to say "**** you" to me...

Ever heard the saying, "everything happens for a reason." This saying is almost always %100 true. Something will come out of this, maybe even have you be more careful because people are complete a**hats. Society is getting worse everyday, and ive noticed peoples driving are getting worse everyday. I got into a car accident also in my 07 si in march, not even a month after I had it. I was in the left arrow lane and to my right cars were stopped at the light, so I was going and she decided to do a quick move change into my lane without even looking and swipped the whole side of my car down, including the passanger wheels. Yea I didnt pay for jack and my car is great now, but the thing is it was in the shop well over a month and it was a pain in the a**, its not worth it. What you could of done was hit her head on and run out saying "ahhh my neck!!!". And possibly break your finger before you go out, probly get some real $$. But probly wasnt worth a try, now you got $3,000 out of your wallet. Goodluck, and get a ready for a pain in the rear end

Dang man, that sucks. People are crazy now it seems, for me I havent had many close calls with cars but bike(the pedal kind) riders seem to have no respect for their life, the other day I was driving down the road and my light was green and to start with, the bike rider was riding against traffic in the bike lane coming down the street intesecting the one i was on, he then proceeded to go through the red light (these roads both have heavy traffic) and i had to slam on my brakes or i would have wiped him out. Pissed me off because if i would have hit him, a 20 pound bike and 150 pound person doesnt stand much of a chance versus a car going 40 mph, wouldnt have been able to deal with having killed somebody had i hit him.

Also have to be especially careful where I live because in Florida there are a lot of illegal immigrants who drive without license or insurance and will flee the scene of an accident to avoid being deported or caught.
