dont go the sponsorship way its not worth it. are you active army or ng btw? if your ng then get a full time guard job they pay pretty good, i started at over 22 an hour in my state(yours might be different) plus if you go to iraq youll have a bit of play money too.

Im active bro, and im deployed more then i would like to be, but thats what the army does. i have money to a point, but not really the time and i know of about 3 cars just here on post that are sponsored. and they built the car the way they wanted it, all they had to do was put the name somewhere on the car. one of them is a stock car with a paintjob and a dressup kit, with a big stereo system in it. so around here as long as you re persistent it is easy. but i want a good sponsor, like Skunk2 or something.

ohh so it takes a car that everyone has to be sponsered... this car was sponsered for a while until the guy sold it to me. no turbo, but it has a engine in it. i was asking a simple question there is no need to get your panties up in a bunch. really dont care if your admin or not, you dont need to be rude. a car that looks good wont get you anywhere if it dont run good, and a car that runs good wont get you anywhere if it dont look good. get it right.
I dont understand why people get their nuts off about being sponsored. Build your car for YOU, not someone else.
Also, dress up kits and stupid crap like that will get you nowhere. How about maybe building a good car, with a bad *** built motor, and a big ol' turbo setup. That would show them that you konw what you're doing.
Otherwise, you've just another dime a dozen Honda Civic with a body kit...

what do i have to do to be sponsered??? i have a nice car and i need to get a dress up kit for the engine but thats all i need to get. but if anyone has a suggestion for me to get sponsered it would be much easyer and faster to finish my car and show what suicide customs can do. i am in the army so i dont get paid enough and dont have all the time i need for it so i need help!!!!

My panties aren't in a bunch, I was simply saying that you should build your ride for you, and not some stupid sponsor thats just going to slap stickers all over it.
I'd love to know who sponsored that car before. Aside from small town local shops, no one is going to sponsor a Civic with a body kit, it doesn't make sense.
Whatever floats your boat man, I just think that the whole being sponsored thing is a trendy waste time.
