Invest in a tazer (sp?) Its non lethal, unless you keep doing it lol. And it will put the theifs outta commision for a while. Maybe a hidden camera in the garage somewhere too...

A lock can't be that expensive. Do you have to lock the garage door, regular door or both?

 

my garage is a 2 bay open front end where the doors should be.. my dad built it and never finished

 

buy a no trespassing sign, put it where its very vissible, and if they come back shoot their asses and then if the law says anything, just point at the no trespassing sign.

Why not buy some plywood and make a temporary door and when you have to move the car out you can take the plywood out. It sounds kind of strange that your garage, with tools, is missing 2 big garage doors. Around here, my **** would have gotten stolen within a week or two. In my old neighboorhood everythign would have been gone by lunch time.

 

well if you took your engine apart, why didn't you just hall it out, put it on a jack stand and have a new decoration for you bedroom
