2. I cant believe the arguement is about power. It runs a 14 flat in the 1320, whoopty doo! The 350z isnt designed to blow anyones doors off, but take it to a windy road and I will bet you money your jaw will hit the floor. Ever wonder why its so expensive? Take a look at the suspension and how its engineered.
Now this guy has a head on his shoulders.

in the new one i think they upped the power a bit. but japenese cars are for windey roads, american cars are for straight line racing.
in no way is the new Vette made for "straight line racing" only..

either way i'd rather buy a 4 cylinder car and take the money i saved from buying the six or 8 cylinder and dump it into the motor and completely blow the 6 or 8 cylinder away.

You know how many people's jaws hit the bleachers when I was at Nopi Race Wars and a 4 cylinder civic hatchback beat a modded Viper V10! Yes both were complete drag cars BUT the Viper ran a 10.7 in the 1/4 which means it deff had motor work done but it is still a V10 and the 4 cylinder civic (yes turbo and nitrious, but still) ran a 9.2. The guy with the civic probably had about the retail valve of the stock viper into his civic but still blew the doors off a modded Viper. Thats nice. I'll take a 4 cylinder that can beat a 10 cylinder anyday. Then I can look at the Viper and say yup its just a civic.

A skyline is a v6 too producing up to 450hp and I bet it will be more relaible.
First of all, 500>450 the second thing is that the corvette is making 500HP ALL MOTOR the skyline however is making 450HP with a turbo. About reliability i doubt that one would drive his $70,000 corvette Z06 everyday to work and back, i wouldn't.

A Corvette Z06 makes 500HP, 475 LB FT of torque and weights 3130lbs. The sticker price is like 65k or something like that
