I'm sick and tired of these scams too. I found an awesome '88 M3 for $6k (these normally sell for around $20k) and a 2000 integra type R for $4. The guy with M3 was supposedly located fairly closed, so I inquired whether I can take a look at it - I haven't gotten a response from this guy again. It sucks that there really is no way to get back at these bastards

I'm with riceburner, if you going to spend that much cash go get it directly expecially if not from a well know reputable company. Could even be old pic and car in not as good shape. And for a car you should see it run before you buy. Easy to cover up stuff with a good cleaning. Car salesman do it all the time so you don't see oil leaks before you buy them. If a deal seems too good to be true then it probably is. And on a switch with that, if you don't see a price on something there is a reason for that also.

Scammers are "special" people. I was looking for an E46 M3 last year and saw like 10 of them going for like $15k on Autotrader and Ebay. The car is always 1400 miles away or overseas. And they always require escrow accounts with like $2000-$4000 down before shipment. WOW!
