I just saw it and I thought it was very good...I enjoyed the action scenes how they slowed them down and sped them up....the visuals were stunning...Also seeing it tommorow for free because of a friend who works at a movie theater!

 

I just saw it... By far the best movie I have seen in a long time, everything was bad ***.

I saw it at 4 today and liked it. I wish they had done the Gates of Fire version which is a historical account of what happened, not the fantasy version 300 was. But all and all I agree with NO_Id it looked killer and the fight scenes were AMAZING!!!!!!!


That and I did have a nagging feeling of wanting to cut someone in half for the rest of the day. LOL

 

I saw it twice on opening day...once with my gf, and once with all of my guy friends. It was pretty awesome and the fighting was really great and well layed out. I don't know if you stayed after, but look at how many stunt men were in the credits. Not to mention that during one of the fighting cut scenes, that shield check to one dude's face was possible one of the coolest scenes EVER.

 

i really can't wait. this is the first movie a LONG time that i have actually counted the days until i get to see it.

 

i agree with original poster, it was good, but my expectations were not blown away or anything. Alot of gore, that was cool. Plotline was lacking for me.

lol well i knew opinions would differ........the visuals were really good, music was too....but you just cant base a movie solely off of one battle, the killing gets very repetitive, although always entertaining and never old. Dont mind me though, ive been in 2 film study classes so my standards are set a little high.....people who are saying this is the best movie ever made though, you clearly have not seen enough movies lol Id definetly reccomend seeing it, i was just saying dont be surprised if its not as good as you anticipated......
