I gotta friend with a mazda 6. He put straight pipes on it and now I can actually catch up to him. He also has about 300 pounds of subs in the trunk. Go figure.
But Amanda, I dont reccommend that you finance a car. You will be stuck with a payment every month. You will feel like you're of full ownership and then every month youll get this nice looking, crispy white envelope with a bimmer logo on it requesting a monthly installment. You will hate it because you will feel like you are flushing money down the john for no reason. My 2 cents. See if your mom and dad will match you.

^^agreed, for the last year i have been paying my mom and dad back money for my civic and i only have $500 left to pay so im almost dun, but it sucks just giving all your money away each month to pay you car off and not saving any for a rainy day,the last time i put money in the bank or used my debit was a year ago

Im still kinda looking at BMW's, but after Drbyers was suggesting WRX's I checked a few out online, and Im gonna go hopefully tomorrow to a dealer like an hour away to check a really nice looking black one out. Its not the STI but thats ok. My mom would not help me finance one of those..But Ill be lookin at the BMW's as well.

I'm gonna bet that once you test drive the WRX and feel that turbo kick in on the off-ramp that will inevitably be on your test drive that you'll be hooked. lol

Not sure about that. Take the WRX. Put a FMIC on it, full exhaust, get a Boost Controller and have it dyno tuned. That will add about 100 hp, or more depending on the tuner..............all for about 1500.00

dreaming is for free guys/girls....lol...."everyone has to have a dream"<--(hustle & flow).....
on a serious note i would take a wrx or an evo or (my favorite)350z over a bimmer....first of all the maintanance on those cars r crazy and the posibilities for a 4wd/rwd import is endless....i personal wouldnt feel rite driving a fast car(unless i was rich) unless i actually put work into the car....it gives me a sence of acheivement

Sweet Remmy, keep pinchin' them pennies.
I have a monthly car payment, but I don't mind it at all. Don't get me wrong, I wish I could have payed it all off at once, then I'd have more cash more mods, but that just wasnt in the cards.. And like byers said, it defintiely helps when it comes time to home owner ship. I went in to get pre-approved for a mortgage the other day and when she ran our credit score, I was pushing 800.
