if all youre worried about is one run where you murder him, get a nitrous kit, have it installed, and bust his *** with an extra 100hp. if you want the power all the time, start looking for a supercharger or turbo kit. bolt-ons aint gonna do it. esp if he starts modding his car like MD said.

oh you "could" do it without FI, but the 05 accord v6s dont have a huge aftermarket folowing, so thats going to make it expensive and time-consuming. most of what you do would be custom engine work and getting a lot of parts done custom. just put a supercharger on it, im not sure if ones made specificaly for that car though.

I am telling you guys that the F-Body cars are monsters. Imports being moded to hell do good to keep up with a 97+ stock one. There are people with honda's that all they are working towards is to beat a 97= F-Body with bolt ons, go forbid somebody actually mod these cars. You can look at em a certain way and it adds 10hp. Here I will kinda give you an idea. My 94 Formula has a LT1 6 speed and has 100k miles on it on the stock clutch. A CAI and muffler is all it has and runs constant 13.6's in the 1/4 miles on crappy toires with a slightly worn clutch. If I put slicks on it and a stock replacement clutch in it it's a solid low 13 car that gets around 30mpg on the interstate.

oh yeah, without boost or juice, it would be hard as hell to do. but theres a little local shop im betting i could drop an accord motor off to and they could get me into the high 12s. youve probably heard of them. one of (if not the) the best Honda shops in the country. Comptech. but as you can imagine, that wouldnt be cheap, even being friends with a guy that works there.[&:]

See the accords dont have to much aftermarket support and I would about bet my life that a stock V6 out of one would need to be re-worked to have enough juice or boost put on it to stay with a LS1 powered F-Body. Then here comes the bad part, being the aftermarket support is about nil custom everything would be in order which is both expenseive and a PIA to get done. I say if you want to keep up with and/or beat him buy a different car or you will still get worked over by the Pontiac.
I am not talking bad on your car either just stating the truth, The F-Body cars are the U.S.'s Skyline, you buy one and add $2000 worth of stuff to it and you have a 9 second car that you can drive around town.
