Do you think Civics look good with aftermarket racing steering wheels? My cousin is sponsored, and can get them for dirt cheap. I was going to have him order one for me. But I don't know if that would even look good.
Would a racing wheel look goofy, and out of place in the interior of a Civic?

It just depends on the car. If you have an all stock four door interior, of course it will look out of place. If you have some small mods, black on black interior coupe it would look sick. And as far as air bags...I dont like them anyway. I KNOW 2 people who had minor wrecks that they wouldnt have been injured in had it not been for the airbag going off. One airbag broke a wrist and the other broke a nose and gave a mild concussion. Where as by simply wearing a seat belt would stop you from smashing your face in.

How does a properly functioning seat belt protect you from a winshield, steering wheel, or piece of subframe coming at you?
I'l take my airbag, thanks.
The seatbelt will stop you from lunging forward, but the airbag provides a cushion, for anything. Also a seatbelt can cut you and give serious whiplash without an airbag.
I think they look great, but i would probably never do it.

How would an airbag prevent whiplash? You go forward and the seatbelt stops you...hitting an airbag would cause you to go forward and stop just the same, then get pulled back by the seatbelt. And the seatbelt stops you from lunging forward into the windshield and steering wheel. My dad wrecked hid Galant and the airbag didnt pop for some reason and he didnt hit anything because his seatbelt stopped him. Seatbelts only cut you if worn incorrectly...like across your neck or under your arm.
