Default Wire Tuck

first off, i'm not sure if this is in the right area. i mean it has to deal with appearance, but it also has to do with the engine. so if it is in the wrong place, someone please move it.

anyway, i was reading my import tuner magazine, and i saw a civic with a wire tuck. since i'm gonna swap a motor soon, i was thinking about going the extra distance and getting a wire tuck because it looks so clean, but since i want to get my swap bar'd, i was wondering if a wire tuck would make me fail when the ref doesn't see any wires?

i wouldnt kno for sure so dont go by me, but i would imagine it would be alright. so long as everything still functions the way its supposed to and u can pass emissions and whatnot, i dont see why hiding some wires would hurt ya.

on wire tucks? personally i love the way it looks. makes the bay look hella clean and if u have some nice mods, it'll help make them more noticable and better to show off. i'd do it if i had something to show off lol.

As long as everything is still hooked up, you'll be fine.

Be warned though, that it is no easy task. I know some very knowledgable guys that have spent weeks doing their wire tucks. Take your time, make sure you do it right, and there won't be issue

i think wire tucks ALWAYS look good, i wish i knew how to do it to clean up my bay. I say go for it if you have the knowledge, and consider doing a DIY, i bet lots of people would use it

I understand the concept, but does anyone have any pictures? Our engine bays are already pretty wire free. Sorry, I am just one of those "visual" guys.Thanks.
