Default Wiper Arm refurbishing

Hey guys,
I have a 98 civic ex and the paint is coming off the wiper blades. So I was wondering how you would go about repainting them. And what kind of Paint to use? Thanks!

I did this last year and never wrote up the DIY. Super easy. Before you take the wiper arms off, mark their position on the windshield with some masking tape. You need at 14mm wrench to remove the wiper arms. Get a bunch of sandpaper, a can of flat black spray paint, and some Rustoleum "clean metal primer" spray as well. Shouldn't take more than a couple hours including drying time.

^yeah. also a little stand or something to put the wiper up on and that allows u to spray all around will make things a lot easier. when i did mine i sprayed it while it was layin on the ground and it was a lil tricky to spray the entire surface at once. its real simple, but remember to mark off where the wiperblades are sitting on the glass before u remove them and take off the part that the blade is on, dont want to get paint on the blades.

tie a string to them and hang them. thats where u can paint the whole thing without stoping and turning it to do the other side. hang it from your garage im you got one.

So easy. Take em off. You dont really even need to sand em. Just give them a few coats of black spray paint.....use duplicolor.....its the best stuff........then just put em back on when theyre dry. If you wanna make em look really super duper good then sand em, paint em and clearcoat em.........I just sprayed em black w.o sanding and they look fine........I was too cheap to spend 5$ more on clearcoat and sandpaper.
