I live in chino/ontario and have 35 tint on the front windows of my civic... nd most of friends have that too, we never get pulled over... then again our cops are pretty chill n our windows are down most the time!
i go throught LA alot (where illegal tinting is done all the time) nd cops just dont pull u over for that, cuz they got better stuff to do!

for those people that want to hide their things, this also leaves it open to people to wonder ...

I am running 30% limit is 35. I am on the local police department as a cadet noone has said anything yet.

Well what i was told by a cop 65% is legal in NY see i have 20% all around my civic and i am happy with it seems dark i would like to limo tint it the whole way but then thewhole cop **** plus i am hispanic man i get enoughharassmentand 35% is ehh i mean i saw it on a car it seemed dark b/c he had black interor so that has some part to play and **** you can tint the front yo dont tell me that i want to but i wasnt sure

they give tickets tho. i dont understand the stupid law. i had 10's on my civic and i got pulled over a few times and was given warnings. but then i got in an accident and they gave me a ticket for the tints because 'it was a contributing factor to the accident' which is bullchit because some girl just pulled out in front of me... had nothing to do with tints. but i ended up havin to pay 130 bux in court costs for that ticket.
im gettin 5's put on the back 3 windows of my gtiasap. i dont like how people can look right in and see my system.

hell ya me too but i still got em anyway .. but i also have a COP for a mom and she got em done for me which was straight as hell.. theyre a lil dark in the light but REALLY dark at night and i agree with the people looking in and seeing wut i got.

i agree that having your windows tinted might make someone wonder... but in a hatch.. you can look right in and see my whole system staring you in the face. might as well slap a steal me sticker on it. at least if the crook cant see in... it's more of a mystery.. and there's a chance they could be risking breaking in for nothing. cuz a lot of people tint their windows just for looks. not to hide anything.

around here legal limit is 35%... i got 5% all the way around on my car, and 2.5% on the truck(but she is gone now 
). got pulled over st. patricks day forthe carbeing too dark, but he didn't have much to say except it is too dark... didn't tell me to do anything about it so i'm not worried about it! i've seen the same cop at 2 different gas stations since then, and he never said anything. i even parked right next to him the last time! but the dark tintis a bit(h to see out of at night! sometimes i have to stick my head out the window to see where the hell i'm going when backing up!!
