I got 20% all around but my back windows look a tad dark because they were slightly tinted from the factory. If i were you i just get 20 all around just to be on the safe side. I heard 5% is hella hard to see out of at night. 20% is dark but you can see shadows (sorta) in the day but at night its pretty dark so i would suggest 20%. As far as price i only paid $108 but i got a 2 door and you said you got a 4 door so you can expect to pay more. Just do so research on tint shops in your area.

 

I got 30% on the back window and back windows and 20% on my front windows. all for 180.

 

they changed the law for tinting, they dont even give tickets anymore, they give summons, they probably go harder on me concidering i live in nyc, but all tints r now illegal except factory tints " if any" or licensed limosines are the only acceptions

 

Thanks guys. I will look at some more shops and prices. I want the whole thing done for less then $200 or nearly that, but over is pushing it. I dont think the cops will mess with me much out here,, with the 20 in the front and 5 in the back. I think 20 all the way around will be too light.

I bought a pre cut kit (for ****s and giggles) for about $10 and recently started installing it myself. It's not that hard if you take your time(although I haven't done the back yet). Just a thought, I know most people don't like to do it themselves, but it really isn't that bad, and I think it looks good. And for the price, who cares, you can **** it up and take it in if you want. What's $15......a very short night at the bar?

 

Yea, I did all my tinting myself it didnt come out bad at all but the rear window was a huge pain in the @$$, but i saved a lot of money doing it myself, came to about $20 and 4ish hours, 2 1/2 on the rear window.

 

i got my back 3 done at 5%for $125

i woulda got my front done 20% as well but its illegal here in Michigan [:@]

 

my 20% in the back got 2 fat scratches in it from lawn chairs today.....


so pissed..

tinting was with my car when i got it and its starting to peal a little, so i think ill have it redone this summer...

I'm thinking 5 in the back and and 35 on the fronts....

i dont wanna go too dark since i live in cali.
