Window tinting
I am planning on tinting my windows but i have a few questions
first off is does anyone know around how much it will be
second is do you really have to take the whole glass pane off to do it
third is should i get the junky sticker kind or the good one
last is what places do this
thanks in advance

RE: Window tinting
Cost: 100-200, Mine was 190 including the sunroof
They don't take the windows out, they just put the tint film on them.
Make sure the shop uses high quality tint film or it will bubble and turn purple, basicly look like chit.
Just call around local speed/custom shops to find places to do it.
Make sure you get a lifetime warrenty on your tint job.

4. Local tint shops

RE: Window tinting
I helped a local auto graphics guy out with a project.
he was in a pinch and asked for my "expertise." lol.
I helped him get the project out and he was going to charge the client for my consulting services, but I said "naaah, just keep it."
so the guy offered to tint my windows to the state legal max for free. (with his best tint, i might add).
I'll have pics tomorrow hopefully.

RE: Window tinting
LOL. jeezis.
btw, just got my car back from tinting.
i went for slightly lighter than the legal limit. I didn't want it too dark looking.
I just wanted something to keep the UV rays out of the interior year round versus getting a limo blacked out look.
and the brand they used was called "Llumor"????, which carries a lifetime nationwide warranty.
It would have cost me $185 had I actually paid for it.
