RE: what ya think? ARM REST recovered....
Hey addiction what exactly did you do to get the fabric around the arm rest? I'm buying some SI seats from a kid on the forum and I'm planning on redoing the arm rest and shift boot... any install tips?

Well, I was going to redo the armrest myself I found out that a company actually makes them. They can even customize to your liking. Check out this thread about their stuff: https://www.hondacivicforum.com/m_44.../tm.htm#449867

RE: what ya think? ARM REST recovered....
well when i did my arm rest i simply took off the bottom inside plate and used the TRUSTY HOT GLUE GUN
the trick is stretching the fabric over it with minimal wrinkles!
some fabrics are easier to work with than others.... if i try to redue it again ill try using a heat gun to warm the material up and see if it stretches any beter... heard it might help alittle... i just didnt think about trying it.... the door panels will probably be the hardest! might jsut put the fabric in the dryer on high for awhile as well as a heat gun on the door panel to warm it up and help play time....
