hmm, not sure where you would get them, but i suppose they would shine alright since the fogs are already pointing so much down at the ground
do HIDs get really hot? i'm not sure, but if so, they could melt your housings

an hid fog conversion is basically the same as an hid headlight conversion. You just have to find out what bulb size it uses, and order that size hid kit. Then it's more or less put the bulb in, hang the ballast, and have fun.
(and gin0 is right, 3k hids would be perfect... 3k is yellow, 4300 is white, 6k is white/blue, 8k is blue, 10k is blue/purple, 12k is purple, and 15k is deep purple (and utterly useless as anything above 8k pretty much reduces visibility))
