THESE ARE ALL REAL HID KITS! LOOK!
Okay what I have here is my three cars that have 3 different sets of HIDs... hopefully there will be no more confusion of what they look like. It goes from the right to the left:
BENZ with 4000kelvin HID kit. They are VERY bright and have more yellow in them. On the road they shine very white and no color even from a distance they are white. They are also in OEM housing (no projectors in front of the bulbs). The AUDI's are by far the best. No doubt. They are in projector housing and they give off blue from an angle but white head on. From a distance they are very light blue. the CIVIC is blue... they are in aftermarket projectors and they are blue no matter what way you look at them... the road becomes blue, from a distance they are blue. They are incredibly bright compared to halogens but nothing compared to the 6k and 4k in the Audi and Benz, respectively. The Benz and Audi come with their own ballasts made by their manufacturers while the civic's HIDs are from a shop and have their own ballasts. The civic's kit costed me 350 dollars total because i had them professionally installed... Anymore questions?

You can tell from the tiny house I am not rich... but not many 23 year olds have a house... or married! I got the civic when I came home from Japan 2 years ago and bought the Benz from my parents a year ago right before I got married (I got it for less than the civic) and it has just 20,000 miles! The Audi is leased through a business of mine so I dont really pay for it, but the business sure as heck is. It is the A6 4.2 with the v8 and no joke, it is fast. I never ever race in that thing, it is fast enough to not even have to try. It has like 335hp and over 300 lbs of torque. I got it because my wife looks so hot in it. I'm a benz guy but I havent grown into it yet!

I payed extra to have it installed... I also had them re-wire alot of little things to clean up the junk under my hood. I bet it only would have costed 100 or less... anyways, they calibrated my lights better as well so I feel 350 was great. And there is no way Eve (my wife) will let me put her picture on the forum, she says I'm a nerd to be laying on the street taking pictures of the cars at 9pm! If someone will tell me how to make a picture that goes down below where my signature is I will probably squeeze a shot of her in it.
