i have a 99' civic hb dont like the taillights want 96'-00' taillights off the coupe civic any ideas on how to do this?

 

so you want to put coupe lights on the HB. Personally, I think it would look akward, but you could definately do this, if you have enough money or skills. I imagine that this will require a lot of cutting, drilling, welding, and bondo.

the 96-98 taillghts are diffrent then 99-00. 99-00 are all red and white. Just so you know when you are looking for the ones you like better.

 

stay away from custom tailight conversions. my buddy f-ed up his otherwise show-quality eclipse with an S2K taillight swap. if you do anything like this, expect to pay at least 2 grand. any less, and youre risking a shoddy job.

Couldnt be more right! I've heard my share of stories of such conversions, besides most of the time, they don't look right. I saw a civic with skyline taillights once at HIN, and that looked pretty gay. I can't imagine seeing coupe tails on a HB. Before you do anything, make a pic of it in photoshop to see how it will look
