Default Sonar Projectors

Hi All,

New poster to the forums and new modder for my 97 Civic. I am planning on installing projector headlights. Came across this set of lights:

http://www.dashzracing.com/Lighting-...-p5294963.html

Found out from the seller those lights use Sonar projectors. I was wondering if anyone had anything good or bad to say about Sonar projectors.

I've read some good and bad reviews about them so not sure what to believe. Has anyone used Sonar projectors with HIDs?

Any feedback is appreciated.

but is your car going to be completely blacked out everywhere? if not than these would look HORRIBLE.

The first set of projectors I had on my old Civic were Sonar Projectors. Horrible light output.

My second set were Anzos, which run a pretty penny, and they broke while adjusting the beam. I would stay away from projectors.

Blacked out is what I'm going for. So far have the gunmetal wheels, smoked tail lights and now want to get the smoked headlights as well.

I will upload pics of my car a bit later. Don't have them on the comp I'm using at the moment. Been a member since 08 but this is my first post and don't have my account set up yet

Stu, unless I missed something painfully obvious, it appears you're being a jacka**. Kindly stop it.

OP, I had sonar projectors on my old civic; I didn't have any complaints about the light output. They seemed brighter than my stock headlights, but it could have been that my stock lights sucked. The projector low beams put out a ton of visible light and the reflector high beams pretty much made it daytime again. Then again, I could have been one of the lucky ones as I would seem to be the only one on these boards that had a good experience with projectors.
