That all depends on the kind of side skirt it is, and/or your personal preference.

you're probably going to want to pull them off, but like everyone else said, it just depends.

But here's a hint since you're going to have aftermarket side skirts... go to Lowe's, Home Depot, or Wal-Mart and buy a can of spray-on expanding foam insulation; it's meant for going around doors and windows in home construction. Anyway, spray some of that on the inside of your sideskirts. Just be careful not to spray too much in, or else it'll expand too much at once and crack your sideskirts. Once you have it all filled in (it'll take a few spraying & drying cycles), sand/cut off the excess (you'll need to cut away at a few parts of the insulation so it can fit on the car). Once it's done, the sideskirts will be a lotmore rigid and sturdy... it's a lot better than having the flimsy things just hanging there... especially if passengers have a habit of kicking the sideskirts when they get into your car (trust me, it makes you want to cry when you hear someone accidently kick your sideskirts lol)
