Hey guys i have one of those shift ***** that used the allen screws in order to install it but every time i put it on with the allen screws the thing keeps on commin lose and is makes me really mad so i was wonderin if ne one could help me with install tips or if ne one could help me to where i can find a screw on shift **** i would appreciate it alot thanks again for your help.

 

skunk2 and blox both make very high quality screw on ones, they are heavier than most to help snap the shifter in place. check out their websites or ebay, though they are pretty expensive compared to those stupid screw on ones. sorry, i just dont like those, personal experiences.

 

If you want you could drill a samll hole in the shifter, tap it and find the same allen, just longer and use threadlock.... If you want

 

hey every one i got my shift **** to work i grinded down some bolts and to where they fit into the **** **** and glued them in there, so basically i made my allen screw **** a screw on **** thanks to the for the help from Super Mario and sacicons appreciate it but all of u who are to worried bout how gauge clusters look then no thanks to yall

 

I cut my short throw shifter off just under the threads and put a shift **** on it works nice no movement at all!!!
