Default Seat Swap for a newb

I'm totally new in here although I've been searching for the last couple of hours to no avail. I told my brother that you guys were the people who could help us out with the info we need. We have a 1992 Civic EX that he wants to get different seats for, we love the car, only hate the seats. I thought there would be a sticky that shows what would be a bolt up and what wouldn't but I could find one and couldn't find any post or threads either, I assume this is common knowledge and everyone probably knows....except me. lol. Hopefully you can help an old fart like me.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Andy

you could buy some aftermarket racing seats that are very nice and you wont be dissipointed, and you will prob need new sliders as well that should come with the seat, i would go for a set of thos, im not sure which seat matches up with yours tho, some other people on here have dun seat swaps, they will be around soon hopefully..i would go aftermarkit racing seats tho

I put in a Corbeau Forza seat for 390 shipped, this included, the seat, bracket, sliders, harness and harness pads from racing seats usa, just google it you'll find their site. There's pics of the seat in a thread named Corbeau.

find a nice set of prelude seats from a comparable year....
Anything will bolt up....I put a set of 96 prelude seats into my 95 hatch. I had to change one side of the seat rails, and drill the rail to fit the new seat. I also had to replace the seat belt sensor plug with the original (removed the pins and used the old plug body) It didn't take to long and the fit is SO much better.
See what you can find...any civic, integra or prelude will most likely come close...and a hammer will make it fit.

Be sure to read all the way through the thread for a few warnings tho. I dont recommend going all out with racing seats and harnesses unless you have a roll/harness bar.
