hood scoops?
roof scoops?

my initial thought is that they won't really do much, especially for someone that does not race like me. But damnit, I just like the way they look.

I can see a hood scoop maybe, they are functional (or should be), but what the hell do roof scoops do?

They do look hot on my car on Need For Speed though.

 

Exactly. I try and get the car that looks the most like mine on NFS: Most Wanted. Roof scoops look cool on it.

you no its weard...being the genis that i am, i always thought roof scoops let air into the cabin..but i just found out that there actually made for cars that have the engines in the back, its like a air vent that brings air for the motor..who would of knew

Actually roof scoops are for a rear mounted Radiators in Rally Cars. They dont want the Rad up Front in case it breaks.

Roof scoops are also used to cool the drivers in rally and I believe that is the most common use "modern day"

 

whats IMO mean? i see this all over the place but, never know what is going on.
