question about HID kit!!!

Default question about HID kit!!!

hey guys~ I got a 95 civic cx and i want to change the HID. do u guys know which HID kit will fit for my cars? I mean which bulb...H1 , H2, H3 or H4?

Also, do u guys know which brands of HID is a better choice? thz guys

whichever bulb fits your headlight is the same size bulb HID you wanna get or go here and it will tell you the type to get

iF YOU WANT TO REMAin DOT compliant check out XGL. They make a full DOT compliant housing, won't run you the risk of a nasty fine. I don't know about where you guys are from but in my neck of the country (Connecticut) getting caught with HIDS that are not DOT compliant runs around a $2000-$5000 fine!!! Pretty ridiculous but check your local laws first. I know XGL makes a kit for your car so check them out first.

tyc makes a kit for the civic and replaces the whole housing and is 50 stage dot legal... its about 500 bucks but its what im getting, gonna be so sweet

it is still technically illegal to put HID's in a car that didn't come stock with HID's it just depends on how much the cop wants to be a dick

allls what i care about is if it comes with a card that says they are 50 state legal and i get a ticket, im going straight to court with that... with proof in my hand that they are legal

plus they are also for safey purposes.... I remembered a cop once told me that i can have any kind of lighting on the front and sides of the car because it helps with seeing ahead of you for safey
