Default Pulled badges, tips to rid outline?

Well I pulled off my "Civic" and "Ex" off my car today (pic below). Taking off the Ex was awful... all the glue stuck to the car but the Civic wasn't too bad. Used a lot of Goo Gone and rubbing compound lol. I love how it looks now with 'em gone.

BUT there's still an outline to the Civic and Ex, any suggestions to get rid of it? Will it just take time or what.

Still trying to talk my sister in to trading her tails with me since she has a 2000. I need a new cat-back too, guy on CL said he'd sell me an Apexi WS2 for $350 but he won't send me pics and says I have to come and look at it on his car so I don't know if I'm gonna do it.

If you buff one spot too long or hold it in one spot, say bye bye to your clear.

Okay I'll buff it some day... Maybe this weekend. As long as the lines will come put I'm happy cause it bothers me how visible the civic is
