Default Projector Retrofitting

Has anyone here done a retro fit on there aftermarket projector headlights?
I am trying to do it but I am at a stand still.
I want to try to keep my ability to adjust the projector still.
I have two projectors out of a 07 Camry. I like how the cut off is on that projector.
I took some pictures of them and will load them latter...
Thanks for your help....

well with any retrofit its alot of guess and trial and error work....

id love to do it myself BUT i dont want to spend that much cash for some good oem hid projectors!
be prepared to do extra shiming here and there before puting everything back together.....

ive read plenty of retrofit projects and with every one it depends on the projector used and your headlight housings your modifying to fit....

i wish you luck!

I think I just need to buy longer screws to put it in the correct position.

You'll need to design an aiming system for the new projectors. Take some measurements and find out where it needs to be. There's a pretty simple bracket design I saw on HID Planet, but their site doesn't seem to be loading for me right now. I'll try to get you that link once it is. I presume you already know that you'll need ballasts and a harness to make it all work.

GL, you'll be glad you took the time to do it!

ya if i was gonna retrofit i think i would cut out the headlights and mounted the headlights onto the car and try to aim the lights when powered on alittle, that way ya at least got them close...

BTW, how did you take your headlight apart? In the oven? I want to do the CTR style, but im so worried about melting the headlight.

ya just bake em apart....

https://www.hondacivicforum.com/m_52987/tm.htm
tho i put mine in for abotu 3-4mins that way the glue is softer and comes apart alot easier so you dont have to pry on the headlights as much..... just a razor blade and a few small flat screw drivers and its a breeze to bake them apart... BUT the hardest part is keeping the glue crap from going everywhere! its some extremely sticky stuff when warm! like thick chewing gum!
