Alright...I did all the wiring today. I grounded the gold wires on the strips like it said, grounded the black wire on the switch like it said, connected siler wires from srtips to red wire on switch, and wired the red switch wire up to an inline fuse...BUT NO POWER!!! I CANT get the lights to turn on now. How can I get power from the fuse box (in normal english terms) ....? Can I just wrap the wire around a fuse and push it in?

you could wrap it around BUT its not the best idea!!!!!!!!
where do you have the power wire tied into now?
since your using a inline fuse then crimp on a female spade terminal and then find a spade terminal on the fuse box that has power when you want it to... some have power ALL THE TIME... others power with accessory or in the RUN position of the key... i believe the HOT all the time is top far left.......

So I tried that on EVERY empty spot im pretty sure...I had it crimped to the inline fuse wire, which is connected to the switch.

o ok... thats different...... with that you add it to a existing fuse.... not a empty spot. cause most empty spots arent wired for power......

style i was talking about is a inline fuse....

I have an inline fuse too. The Auto Zone guy said I should use both. So should I take out the inline fuse and wire the add-a-fuse tothe switch instead? This what I have...The Blue are lights, red is power, black is ground. Name: diagram-1.jpg

I guess I figured an auto store with an electrical area would possibly know a LITTLE bit, but it seems like the same people who work at Walgreens checkout can get a job at Auto Zone or Pep Boys...haha. O'Riellys near me has smart people though, but they were closed. Ill try today and see what happens.

Ok...I got the set up ok now...mostly. The light on the switch will come on, but the LED strips will NOT come on!!! I dont see what could be wrong. I have the silver wires to the red wire on the switch.
