painting rims, color?
I decided to keep my 14's and paint them. I don't think that they are that bad looking, but two of them are scuffed up by previous owner/s. I can't decide on a color though.....I was thinking a bronze/gold color like ryan did, but I dunno if that would look right on my car with the chrome grille and taillights. I was also thinking black but also not sure on how it would look. So I'm leaning more towards a shiny silver color because I think it would gell with the rest of the car.
lol I was also thinking of coloring the rim black but leaving the ring on the outside the silver color, but threw that thought away. Because of the tedious work, and it's got scuffs on the outside and slight rust too. I dunno what do you guys think would look good? Could someone do a chopwith the side pic of mycarto see how it would look with dif colors? Thanks.

RE: painting rims, color?
Green cars are tough to pick wheels for. The safest bet would be to paint them silver like you said. If you wanted to do that then give them a little bit of a non-stock look then toss on a few coats of Duplicolors Clear Effx. It really sets off any color wheel nicely. But I agree when you said the bronze/gold wouldnt look right.

Thanks. Id go with Duplicolors Engine Enamel for the color since it is tough as nails and dries fast. Then go with a few coats fo the clear effx then go with as many coats as you want of the regular clear for wheels. After it cures for a good 4-6 hours give the wheels a good waxing.
