hey guys my hood has a bunch of chips in it so i figured i'd leard how to paint and experiment. the car is blue i'll probably just end up painting the hood black. SO what do i need to do first? sand it down? prime it? and then paint it? are there any sites you know of that can teach me? also what kind of paint should i go out and buy?

 

I wouldn't paint it black, I would paint it the oem paint on ur car or better yet get a carbon fiber hood, but hey that's just my opinion

 

you really want to no how much work it is? look at this site..thats why its costs so much,all the prep that you have to do, the painting takes 2 seconds. I also think you should paint it to match your car

There are other ways to paint your hood like spray paint, but this is perfessional, if you just look at googe there are a tun of pages on people doing it different ways
