so im thinking about repainting the Falken Hanabi's and this is why...
have no idea how this happened, didnt hit anything, i've never hit a curb or anything like that. the paint looks like it just flaked off or something. theres no actual scratches on the wheel itself or on the rim these wheels are powdercoated and they do nick and scratch very very easily. still tho, dont know how such a big chuck is missing...
sooooo now im thinking about repainting them, NOT powdercoating. i've never seen these wheels painted another color other than the original bronze and silver the come in. i have black with red lip in mind but im not sure. im open to any ideas.
please feel free to photoshop it up. i'll get a better pic with them on the car to photoshop.

RE: painting Falkens, need suggestions..
Well, it has been advised to anyone buying aftermarket wheels to buy a fifth when you get the set for this very problem, curbing bending, or whatever.
So I hope you have another wheel.
Otherwise, be sure to buy a fifth one when you pick up these next wheels.
You may be able to take it to a wheel ship and have them repair it.

it wasnt curbed and def. isnt bent. i have5 other sets of wheels to use if i messed these up, absolutely no need to buy a new wheel, just needs paint. im kinda sick of the powercoat on these wheels because like i said, they nick and scatch fairly easily. tap with a tool, scrape with the air gauge, w/e and it'll nick the paint. these wheels wont be seeingvery much street use after this weekend. put them on the car this past weeksince i just got brand new tires and they needed to be broken in before i started racing with them. now that their just about broken in,i'll put my daily set on.
just looking for opinions on what color to paint them.

Those are some sexy wheels up close. Those pictures in your sig really don't do them justice at ALL, haha.
I voted for the black w/ red lip. I love the grey and gunmetal, but with a black car, I think the black is more appropriate and will flow better.
