Default paint calipers

I was looking at the selection they had for caliper paint at an advanced auto parts, but they only had red, black, or grey. So I bought some engine enamel paint that is blue. It's the same temp 500, so I figure should be fine. Anyone disagree?

no disagreement here, it will work fine if you clean and prep your calipers THOROUGHLY, AND I REPEAT, THOROUGHLY!!! that means about 5 cans of brake cleaner and wire brushes galore.

You don't even need high temp paint, I've used normal spray paint before and it held up fine.

haha, no sandpaper required, unless you want to spend a lot of time to make it smoother than the car.
