The theme im trying to follow is chrome and black with the lighting being blue.
Next steps i want: change taillights to smoked si tails, greddy evo 2 catback exhaust, dc aluminum headers (4-2-1)... etc

my friend had the same car and im trying to be a lil different then his version.

I'd say don't smoke the SI tails when you get 'em. If you're going to smoke the taillights, look on ebay for a used pair of oem 96-98 tails. Don't waste a pair of perfectly good red/whites

and I'd say drop it and go from there. For the record, you're probably going to regret those guages after a few years of looking at them. Oh, and look into swapping the transmission... it'll be a lot more fun to drive with a manual.
