I like 17's or 18's for the looks, and 15's and 16's for the performance and ride. Yours look great, lower her down a little and your set.

I agree the ride does suffer. Im just a little freaked out once i do my suspension, that i'll have to where a back brace. But nah its not that bad it takes some getting used to and some quick manuvering around the deadly pot holes. Aluminum rims are nice but my buddy messed one of his up and had to pay out his *** to get it machined because they didnt make the rims anymore.

Thanks again guys, it really means a lot to hear you guys compliment my car. The only opinions I have heard so far are of my friends, so I've always wondered how other people thought it looked.

Only trouble I am having at the moment is the fuel consumption - it's probably doing around 25mpg - which for a 1.4ltr is terrible! Petrol prices here in the UK are near enough £1 per litre now (Tony Blair and the tax man are a pair of *******! [:@]) so it's really crippling me. I have a sneaky feeling my Lambda Sensor is shot, and may be giving the ECU a false reading. It will cost £20 for a new one, so I think it's gotta be worth a try.

But if bigger is better, why didn't you go with 24's?

Nothing wrong with 17s. And your Civic looks pimp with those wheels on there. It will be extra pimp once you drop it a little. Lookin' good!

I hope we don't hate 17"s. I'll be getting a set soon. I think they look great. And as others have said, once that baby is lowered it'll look pimp.

Nice ride.

no one "hates 17's," they're just not ideal for ride comfort
