OK fenders rolled. ;) waiting for rims now! 2more days :D
Well fenders rolled and ready for my new rims.... so SHOULDNT RUB NOW!!!!!!
for the front i just hammered those tabs up alittle and used some low profile plastic snaps.. hopefully they wont rub....
and the rear i used the fender roller tool i bought off ebay..... freaken $264.94 that sucks BUT i should be able to get MOST my money back outta it if i do deside to sell.....alot beter than paying 90bucks cash to rent it and then another 300$ deposit these crazy people charge!!!
pictures still uploading cause we all know i love pictures.....
got a short video now
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QHM-A_aFCoY
but thats just how to use the tool preaty much...VERY EASY.... and ya heating the paint does help from painting cracks
first to start off..... BEFORE PICTURES
I SEE YOU
AND some during and AFTER PICTURES........
O YA...... and found alittle suprise NOOOOOOO!!!!!!!! DOOP!!!!
rust in the inner fender lip... some rust under it towards the tips. so at least its not horile....
if i had to guess id say some dumb @ss drove on a blowout which bent up that sides inner lip so bad... cause it was practicaly pulled down all the way around!
i knew the car was hit in the front and rear... but the damage was on the passenger side and this is the drivers side quarterpanel....
i ended up just sanding the bondo down decently smooth and spray painted and cleared it.... not to bad.... will look beter when i wash the rest of the car and (get my rims ) hahahha
and done....
and passenger side....
also uploaded a video of bouncing the car..... WHICH WILL show ya why i needed to roll the fender lips....

yep..... just rolls the inner fender lip up...
cause my old rims were like this.... that lip woulda ATE the sidewalls and spit them out!!!!
those where also 40MM offset and the 42MM offset SHOULD sit in alittle more.... so with both the offset and the rolled fenders i SHOULD be ready to rock these rims with straight alignment

Awesome, I guess there really is a different way other than using a baseball bat. So, were you able to rent the fender roller, or did you have to buy it??
Slick job btw.

Good luck on getting your rims today. If your close to me i would gladly pay you to roll my fenders.
Im on 17*7's 205/40/17's and stock suspension. I do not rub at all right now but am thinking of going with a .75 drop and some 215's to get some more side wall and may need to roll the fenders top get it all to fit.
