Damn, I just got in about 20 minutes ago from doing it black. LOL Oh well. It looks really good black. I will post up pics in the AM.

i'm glad you went with black, and it looks good. i'd either say polish the shield, or just spray it flat black. then replace all the other baby blue engine bay accessories, lol

Yeah. Go ahead and laugh. I dont mind. I just opened the hood the other day and though to myself. "Oh lord what have I done to my poor car." THata was when I started shanging everything over to black or gray, or white. LOL

looks good matt, i did mine few months ago, i painted my valve cover black, and sanded the " honda " and v"vtec" part to metal and left it shiney lol

lol, i hate to say i told you so, but i told you so. back when you first showed us the pics, i immediately told you to change it, and in time, you'll probably hate it, lol. so much irony, lol

yours looks better though, you can see what effect proper prepping has on the finished product. Mine is ford engine block gray, btw

Yeah, I remember that. Well we all have done things to our cars that we would rather not remember. I hope this is my only one. ROFL

I got it on. I still have to change out a few things, but its hard to find parts in town, so I might just order the few hoses, and connectors I need.
