My new old mirrors

I did have some ebay F1 style mirrors on my car. Apparently I'm the only one that liked them so people would screw with them when it was parked at just about any pblic place. I got tired of having to reset my mirrors every time I got back in my car so I decided to paint my old faded fake CF ones and put them back on the car.
Here's the old mirror sanded hanging in my ghetto paint booth consisting of a hanging light, fishing line, and drywall hooks

At this point I test fitted the mirror and decided I didnt like the mirror matching the car. I had some rattle can bed liner laying around so i decided to coat the mirros in that instead.
first coat of bed liner (sorry for the bad lighting)

I think they came out pretty good. If you're wondering about the bed liner, its really durable. I helped my friend spray the fenders of his jeep with it and its been to hell and back and hasnt even scratched. I think it would be a good idea to coat a front lip with it, because its really flexible and wont scrape off easily. The farther away you hold the car the rougher the texture is, and my mirrors are pretty rouch feeling, I like it. Not bad for 2 hours if I say so myself

That looks hella good. I had thought about using some underbody coating for the edges of my doors, and some stuff that gets banged a lot.
Very nice job on the spray can!!! And I like it not matching the body, but I love contrast.
