Default Marble or wrinkly effect on paint?

sup everyone, i went to a recent car show and i saw a black n red civic, and his paint job was one of a kinda because i had never seen a car like his.

his paint job lookd like a Marble blend between black and red

so pretty much does anyone here know how to create this effect? when i talked to him he sayd u play with the a plastic bag as the second base coat heals sand u get the above effect, but i tryd today and a sheet of metal and didnt look anything like that, anyone familiar with that technique? or know any sites that can explain it?

Paint job is the only thing wrong with that car =/

And Marble effect? what do you mean by this?

if u see closely, it looks like the red and black are blended together and its got like a marble effect on it.

and also u dont like the paint job?? maybe in person it looks boooooomb lol

I Dont like two tone paint jobs on civics.... If it was a Bel Air, THAN i would llike a two tone on it haha.

But i have actually never seen that effect done so I am no help Sorryz =/

lol dam u!! but i like 2-tone n his 2-tone put mines to shame i want that,but i wana make it like i paintd my 2tone, id rather make it then pay someone to do it for me n charge me my new born son for it because there a "special paint job"

Looks pretty nice to me. Good craftsmanship. And the plastic bag trick isn't the only technique you use for it to look that way. check out http://alsacorp.com/ for other info

I Like a Two Tone Like Danomaticcs Car... That looks a lot better to me....

And I know you did yours yourself Good Stuff

lol proud of it, and yea domestic car did give birth to 2 tones,

but if anyone else has any inputs for this type of paint job, feel free to comment, i really wana know how to make this

you can start with a black base. Then put one coat of white or silver and use your plastic bag to make the effect you want on the silver or white, the more you rub the smaller the texture peices. Practice with saran wrap, trash bags diff. things to get the look you want. Then use whatever color you want but in candy and spray over that. I
