Default a little more help please

I am still in the process of "upgrading" my car. Anyway I wanted to change my grill, I was thinking of just making it all black but i think that the bumper and the grill are combined as one. I was basiclly wondering to all of my 01 ex owners out there, how did you change your grill. do you have to remove the bumper?

i would probably assume that you would have to take off the bumper still... i have and silver 00 ex and thats what i had to do. so im thinking that it would be the same for the next year up.... oh i kept my grill all black too if you want to take a looko at it... it looks pretty cool!

damn, [:@]well i guess i should get started. I really like that grill that you put on. did you make it or was it bought and if so from where? I plan on getting that one with an emblem (dont know which one yet). Ill post up some pics soon. I just got a type r style lip in with an OEM cf hood but i dont plan on putting anything on until i get the grill.

the "grill" of the 01 ex bumper is actually a piece of plastic that is attached to the bumper, if you wanted to change anything, you would have to cut it off. i have taken my bumper off several times to position a neon inside of my bumper.
