liscence plate lights

I'm sure stores who sell those neon light inside and out sell small black lights. I can't really give you a store name cause I live in Canada. But make sure those lights are hidden from bad weather somehow

uhm.. what color do you have right now? I though civics had those lights white from the factory. Both of my cars have white license plate lights as well.
Thats correct. all US cars are supposed to have white plate lights, it's illegal to have any other color, or no lights at all.

well, the ones that come from the factory are more of a yellowish, than white i'm looking for white

L.E.D's woun't work you want to get zenon bulbs. I have those on my hach and they look awsome.

OK THEN... Since i can't get little black lights and L.E.D.'s "wont work"....

HOW ABOUT ZENON. Where can I get some of those. but are they really white or yellowish. could you post a website or store. where did you get them from?

have you tried the after market section at pep boys, i think the after market lights for sylvania replacement 194 will plug right in and they have several colors and i beleive a bright white halogen, you wont find them at the spec number, i have an '88 civic , and treid a 194 they fit right in, but have not tried the other bulbs just yet $8.00 each is a little much for trial and error, the cheaper ones fit i'll try the expensive ones next time

I just left autozone down here on nordhoff and woodley and they had the blue bulbs that when lit are brilliant white, these are 194's. your car requires 168's i think but the 194's will fit. the cost for a 2 pack was $3.99
