i like both lip and body kits, but for my car im going with a lip just because its easer to take care of because its a daily driver, lip kits are cheaper and usually come in ABS or poly..i like body kits but i noticed them on daily drivers at my school and you can notice cracks and chips through it and thats why i decieded not to go with a body kit, plus its like $1,300 (CAD) for a good quality kit, and half that for a poly lip kit

IMo body kits can be a little too much. There are plenty of good ones, but for every one tasteful body kit, there are 5 other gawdy POSes.

And you can never go wrong with Mugen or Spoon.

i'm gonna agree with mill$civic, i wanted a body kit at first....but seeing so many body kits with cracks got me thinking lip kits are the better way to go.....my favorite is the type-R, that's probably what i'm going to end up getting for my 97 Civic 2dr.

For some odd reason I am going with the buddy club side skirt and back bumper that I already have installed and I am getting ready to put a carbon fiber front lip. Because I have never seen a front bumper that I have liked and like the guys above me said there hard to take care of. Every car that I have seen that gets drove alot the front bumpers look like crap with cracks and stuff in them.

Oh yeah I forgot to the big one. I got to get it painted it is black primer right now. I got to slow down some before my wife gets pissed I have just had the car about 3-4 weeks and I have already done this much to it.
