I just bought a set of LED door sill plates for my 2006 Civic Sedan EX. I'm having trouble hooking up the wiring to the door switches. I have 12 volts at the wire until the switch is madeor the door closes. Then I have nothing. (NO POWER)Is there any way I can install these using the factory door switches? If not where would be the easiest place possible to get 12 volts without going to the fuse box? I would like these to work when the door opens. Not just on full time. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
