just got typeR lip - brackets?
i just got my rear type R lip for my 2000 civc ex today, but it came with 2 brackets and no holes drilled on the lip itself. anyone know what they are for?, do i just line up the lip and drill holes or what.

what shape are the brackets? Are you absolutely sure there's no holes in the lip? If they're sort of Z-shaped brackets, they attach the lip to the spare tire thing. And you'll have to drill holes to mount the edges of the lip to the bumper in the wheel well (like where the mud flaps would mount).

yes, they are "Z" shaped. so these would go in the middle of the lip to hold the middle?, i know about the side holes, so im pretty sure i gott drill my own holes. but here are some pics:

yeah, with the z-shaped brackets, they go toward the center of the lip... if you look at the stock bumper, it should bolt to some brackets on the spare tire compartment in the middle of the car.. that's where the lip bolts to, too. Apparently you'll have to drill the four small holes for those brackets yourself. when I got my rear lip, they were already drilled.
