I saw that before, looks pretty sick. Hope you get the lines straght, its going to be hard to tape off and make it go straght when it curves off the side.

best way to do that is use one of those LASER straight guides....

simply stick the laser somewhere like on a ladder or something so going down over it will be good...
then just tape off the laser

not sure how much $$ those little units are BUT should be preaty cheap...
also good for hanging shelves in the house

I think it's very possible with tape if you just think about it and know what you're doing. Props for creativity though, go for it.

addiction - I think getting a laser level will be easier than you thinnk ... my dad owns a construction company lol. I'll just borrow his; with it, Icould tape everything in under 5 minutes if I take my time.

I think I'll probably just get a stock replacement.. they're like $60 new, so I won't even have to worry about prep work, I can just spray the white, let it dry, and start taping.
