i would like to get my vents and just about everything else in my car thats possible to get it painted red i want to have a red black theme for my whole car but i dont know what else i could get painted and i dont know how to get the vents out of a 97 civic ex

 

Well if its like the 98, which I think it is, use a flathead screwdriver and get it under them and they should come out easy.

 

You can start by painting parts on the door, like the trim around the door handles. Here's two basic rules that I live by though, if its plastic - primer and paint (Krylon Fusion!), if its vinyl - dye it. When you get some stuff done post some pics!

 

u can spray your whole interior except seats and headliner and carpet with automotive paint i used base/clear but if u don't have a spray gun or knowledge on how it works . then spray paint it..

 

krylon fusion is good if you don't abuse. painted interior pieces of my 98 gmc sierra (why am i talkin bout trucks here) and it faded due to the nature and use of the vehicle.
