yeah it might be a nice way to keep a real lip in decent shape, that gets messed up, replace it cheaper than a lip, im interested to see it on a civic, not sure if i like it.

GHeyy, people need to stop being so cheap and buy something designed for your car. Don't get me wrong, I like diy methods of getting things done, but zip ties and garage door seals? come on.

Yeah, if i were gonna go cheap i would just buy some foam and make a mold of my own style lip then just fiber glass over the foam. then remove the foam, trim the fiberglass then paint. Maybe harder and longer, but its paintable, rigid, and probably better to mount as your can use screws. plus you can make your own style lip and it will also have a better fit.

I would only do this in my situation cus i have a 1991 hatch with a front lip but i am finding it sooo hard to easily get side lips and a rear one too. for other people, just buy a used lip and just sand it good, fix any cracks and paint it. (what i did, i got my front lip for 20 bucks and i looks brand new now.)

I think it looks pretty much like a real lip. I dont see why anyone who likes lips wouldnt like this. Thats creative.
