Well, I've heard you can go to a dealership a get them the adjust the mileage to what it should be, if you have proof, like the title and old gauge cluster. Otherwise you may be able to swap out the speedo parts in each of the clusters. I know that works for 92-95 civics.

which? The first option, all you have to do is ask. They second, well. I may be easy. Since you already know how to take out the cluster you've got one part done. Now you have to get to the speedometer.
Here's how a 92-95 cluster works. First take off the cover.

Then remove the speedometer's two screws

On the back there are screws that hold the speedometer stuff in place. Take 'em off.

Now, if the whole speedometer portion doesn't come out, you'll have to pop the needle off. WAIT!! Be very careful when doing so. You might mess up the speedometer's reading if you put if back on wrong.

So, you have it off. Now swap 'em, put everything back together and you're done!

just take the cluster out and get the clear plastic off of it so the needles and mileage are exposed, then you should be able to just turn the little number dials with your fingers. Match it to your old mileage and you should be good to go.

Now i THINK thats what you can do, somebody will correct me if youre not allowed to manually adjust the numbers, dont go out and do that right away til somebody confirms it.

i dont belive u can just move the numbers with your fingers, they are fixed in there, u have to take it apart a little more than that to turn it back down or forward.
