Default instaled new headlight eyelids....

well pulled my full carbon fiber style headlight covers.. and put on my new headlight eyelids... says real carbon fiber BUT i got no clue.... but it looks like it..... fit is preaty decent. only thing i dont like is it didnt come with any mounting hardware or even any instructions! just a USPS box and them wraped in a little bag... tho box has a hole in it BUT no damge to the covers at least.

but so far looks great! luckely i had some 3M double sided tape left over so i just threw em on ASAP
tho my civic realy needs a wash.LOL

and compared to my other headlight covers these shouldnt block that much light.... tho i cannt tell until the sun goes down

but they look much nicer than my full carbon fiber STYLE cover...

and if the new eyelids ever do start peeling the gel coat or looking bad i can simply just paint them black

and on a side note i have my oem SI grill painted BUT im just got to much stuff right now before i can pull my bumper and swap it out...

and still havent had time to touch my spoiler tho

tho i must say... i need to find something that matches the grill type and pattern and chop out the lower open grill section and replace it.... OR BS a intercooler infront....
tho if i did it would be painted black just a thought...
ill have to wait until i run the car thru the wash....
and see how she looks then... but so far looks alot beter

looks like we have some similar ideas on our cars :-) I would like the grill, or a new one at least, and one of the 3-5" spoilers with a led light, but I am gonna have to get fenders too, my paint is cracking off my factory ones. It sucks.

id advise OEM spoiler and grill....

nothing beats the fit and quality!!!!!!!

ill probably start work on the spoiler tomorow BUT i think instead of complete paint im just gonna touch in the scratches and sand them smooth and buff it back to a shine the best i can as is....
spray cans can only look so good..... and im not realy happy with the grills paint...

i figure once i do buy some quality paint and clear and a new spray gun i figure ill do all my paint work at once...

well wanna buy my used type r grill.LOL i sure wont be using it!
say 10bucks plus shiping for it... for just the grill as it is now...
or 20bucks for grill and my grill material i was gonna use originaly...
or 30bucks and ill trim the material and screw and glue it to the rip off grill

tho from looken at the grill.... the top clip mounting points look fine BUT thiers no inner side mounting tabs... not sure how good it will look attached with just the top clips.... BUT its one of thsoe cheap rip offs... what can ya expect.LOL

I AGREE COMPLETLY!!!!!!!!

thiers no replacement for OEM equipment!
the quality and fitment is the best!

and the SI grill is sweet....

BUT i still believe.... if someone made a billet grill for the upper and lower openings... ID BE ALL OVER THEM!!!!!!!

i love billet bars! i love them on my trucks aftermarket GMC grill but the aftermarket grill fitment sucks....
and i think a billet grill on the civic would be realy sweet!
if i could only find a place that makes them! or just some billet bars... hell id make my own if i could!
