Default Hub cap respray

So this is my first attempt at pretty much anything custom on my car. Other than my bolt on short ram. I've never painted before and it shows at close.

two before.

any comments? Yay? nay? I know they're just hubcaps, but I'm saving up for performance parts before I do cosmetics.

I like how you painted the honda logo in the centre black, although I think you should have gone for a more interesting colour instead of black, so make it really stand out. Good job though!

can you take a pic of the spray you used? I think I have to do this and might as well use what you did.

Thanks. I thought about doing something that would stand out, but I wanted to keep it subtle, I didn't want it to seem like I was showing off my 13' hubs.

yeah. Here it is. I've heard "dull silver" works better, but I couldn't find it anywhere. Mine are a little too metallic for my taste.

I sanded them down with 200 grit, which was a bad idea, it took awhile. Got them smooth, washed them off, then did about 3 coats of silver and 2 coats of clear coat. I hand painted the "H" and it looks terrible up close

I've ended up leaving them off because I like the way the black interiors look. I might put them back on.
